Our Guardians of the Galaxy podcast

Director Don Thacker is an independent filmmaker on the move. His first film, Motivational Growth, has garnered the attention of many critics and fans alike through its existential look at absurdity. The film's main character, Ian, is a man living in self-imposed isolation. One day, through a curious set of events, Ian begains receiving live lessons from The Mold (voiced by genre legend Jeffrey Combs).

Don stops by The Hollywood Outsider to discuss his film, the films he loves, and most importantly - Why he loves movies! Our topic this week: Movie and TV Teams. With Guardians of the Galaxy hitting theaters, we decided to take a look at what makes for a great film or television team, what makes for a bad one, and even who our favorites are. Does yours make the list? Listen to our latest show and find out!

Speaking of Guardians of the Galaxy, we discuss the impending release of James Gunn's take on the intergalactic Marvel comic. Will this be the next Star Wars, or John Carter? Tremors and Short Circuit Screenwriter S.S. Wilson joins Aaron and Justin to discuss his Hollywood career in this special episode of The Hollywood Outsider! He shares stories of working with Steven Spielberg, director Ron Underwood, the Tremors phenomenon, and even offers some intriguing behind-the-scenes info into Kevin Bacon's take on his infamous Tremors role.
