Russell Brand, Kevin Spacey, Bill Cosby, Mila Kunis, Drew Barrymore, and so many more. Entertainers have been accused of a variety of things over the years, with many on the internet screaming they should be cancelled or never work again. Therefore, we decided now was a perfect time to launch into a deeper discussion on separating the art from the artist. Why is it easier for some than others to separate these elements, and is anyone ever actually right when it's their own personal choice? This is our main topic this week, and it's a heavy one.

Also this week, the WGA strike is finally over and we've got the details, plus an Office reboot looms just over the horizon. All this and more on a new episode of The Hollywood Outsider podcast!

First up, our Movie Battle Royale returns! If you have never listened before, we take eight finalists from any genre – this time it is the horror sequel – and whittle them down until we come to one absolute winner, crowning that film as the greatest to ever exist in its respective genre! There are some fantastic films to choose from here as well, such as: Aliens, Hellraiser 2, Blade 2, Evil Dead 2, Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, Doctor Sleep, Dawn of the Dead, Army of Darkness, A Quiet Place 2, Scream 4, Friday the 13th: New Blood, and so many more. So many gems, but only ONE winner of The Hollywood Outsider Horror Sequel Movie Battle Royale!

Then we reflect on a bit of lost history: commercials. Remember those? These little nuggets of cinema used to tell us what to buy and consume, and since streaming has taken over, we barely pay them any attention at all. What were your favorite commercials?

We conclude with discussing the perfect antihero, what makes one our favorite, and whether we have too many or too little of these characters in entertainment. Antiheroes seem to be the fan-favorites, so what is it about them that we love or connect to so much?
