The Walking Dead Season 4 is the focus of this special episode of The Hollywood Outsider Podcast! Join us as we take a look back at all of Season 4, from life at the prison to traversing the tracks en route to Terminus. Is Rick a leader now? Are we finally ok with Carl? What is the deal with Lizzie? Is Carol the new favorite character? All of this and much more as we recap the entire fourth season of AMC's The Walking Dead for you to catch you up just in time for Season 5!

Director Don Thacker is an independent filmmaker on the move. His first film, Motivational Growth, has garnered the attention of many critics and fans alike through its existential look at absurdity. The film's main character, Ian, is a man living in self-imposed isolation. One day, through a curious set of events, Ian begains receiving live lessons from The Mold (voiced by genre legend Jeffrey Combs).

Don stops by The Hollywood Outsider to discuss his film, the films he loves, and most importantly - Why he loves movies! This is a very fun and engaging interview and one that every fan of film, and especially independent filmmaking, will love. Enjoy our conversation with writer / director Don Thacker.

This week The Hollywood Outsider presents a special episode in which Justin has a spoiler free conversation with James Ward Byrkit, writer/director of the science fiction film COHERENCE. On the night of an astronomical anomaly, eight friends at a dinner party experience a troubling chain of reality bending events. Part cerebral sci-fi and part relationship drama, COHERENCE is a tightly focused, intimately shot film that quickly ratchets up with tension and mystery. James Byrkit was a delight to talk to, incredibly informative, and we hope to see more from this talented filmmaker in the future.

In his new film, Falcon Rising, action-superstar Michael Jai White stars as John 'Falcon' Chapman. An ex-marine consumed by guilt, Chapman finds purpose in Brazil after the vicious attack of his sister Cindy (Laila Ali) brings him face-to-face with the Yakuza underworld. Michael took time to sit down with Justin and Aaron to discuss his new film, performing real stunts in the CG-obsessed culture of today's action films, as well he dropped a small hint for you Black Dynamite fans. A fun interview from a class act - Listen now to Michael Jai White!
